the summer months

This month has been packed with birthdays, "special days," bad days, really bad days, fun days--just lots of lots of days and time alone with three small children. Mother's Day Out ended two weeks ago, and I am still adjusting to the new openness of our summer schedule. Since nothing really changes for us during the summer and we remain a young couple with three small children, there will be no family vacation. It is up to me to add structure and fun to our days and make it through these long summer months. At least we live in a city that is packed with fun stuff for families with little ones. There are so many parks to visit and friends to play with. So, let the summer fun begin!
I just love this chubby face.

Aidan recently discovered a love of mazes, and I remain impressed by his ability to speed through them without assistance. Surely he is a genius.

It seems appropriate that Abe is cuddling his juice cup since most of his days are spent trying to get his cup filled and then running for the bathroom.
