overwhelmed
yes, i am sitting here with two days left to pack wondering how this explosion of stuff that is now filling my house can be systematically contained within boxes and moved to our new home by this friday. how did we get so much stinkin' stuff...and i thought that we were minimalists! i guess we have some work to do in that area.
abel has been sick for the past couple of days and started complaining of a sore throat at two in the morning. so, we will be heading to the pediatrician this afternoon to check for strep.
aidan does not seem to be bothered by his cast and has resumed his normal hyperactive activities. he does seem to be more tired than usual, but he refuses to use his time at home in the afternoons and weekends to rest.
ollie. well, he is just fine. after spending some time at his nana's house last week he has been testing the rules in our home and has been screeching quite a bit; but he is just the funniest kid and can lighten the mood of the most chaotic days.
i am not sure of the benefits of writing all of this down other than i have a tendency to only focus on the positive moments that our family experiences. well, i am just not feeling it this week. i am so tired, overwhelmed, and feel that with each added sickness or injury i just might loose it--which of course is never an option for a mother of three. so there. i will say that i am now done with this short rant and make myself pack something even if it does not seem to make a dent in the masses of stuff left to pack.
