ramblings

well, i was hoping that my next entry would include the great photos (thanks mark!) of my newest batch of purses. i have been selling some of them through the etsy shop and now they are making rounds through a few workplaces in the chattanooga area. thanks to all that have shown interest in the bags and to those that encourage me to continue on my small creative pursuits. putting my hands to work at something other than cooking or cleaning does seem to help with the level of sanity maintained...

we are now back from a short trip to nashville for thanksgiving. it was nice to spend time with family and quite nice to return home. i will say that stepping back into our weekly routine monday morning was not an effortless endeavor.

now, on to christmas! i came across an article yesterday that i thought was good to think about before setting my mind towards all things christmas: http://www.newdream.org/newsletter/simpleholidaykids.php. i hope that we are able to embrace a bit of simplicity over the holidays....

to make space for several new handknit purses, the ones currently in my etsy shop are now ON SALE. not to pursuade you, but they could be great christmas gifts!
