growing belly

i am nearing 24 weeks into the pregnancy and feeling a bit better about the whole thing. our little guy continues to squirm all over the place and is now at the stage where i feel arms in my lower abdomen and legs curled near my ribs and all jumps when the slightest bit of food is eaten. i usually just love this phase--not too uncomfortable and showing enough to look a little more than just overweight. the boys are thrilled to see my ever growing belly. oliver asks several times a day when that baby is coming out. i usually respond "it's going to be a while" to which he exclaims "it's taking FOREVA!" while furrowing his brows...so darn cute!

i am still somewhat on bed rest, which means that i am able to move around more. i usually am up with the boys in the morning and rest for the greater part of the afternoon. we may venture back outside in the early evening if i am feeling up to it. i am still fearful of losing this little one and deal with pain daily; so we ask for prayer that our baby would continue to grow safely and that i would be able to care for our three active boys throughout the remainder of this pregnancy.

quote

quote for today:

"he guys...guys...you know someone really told me that the boss of ninjas has a bald (pronounced bwalled) head. they really do!"

abel shared this nice bit of information tonight while taking a quick bath with his brothers. these guys--so silly and seemingly filled to the rim with soooo much energy. i am not sure why this was so funny to me...maybe because i am a little delirious from a long day of juggling these crazies while still needing to spend much of the day resting (because of the pregnancy).

so, there it is...maybe not as entertaining as i had thought but pretty darn funny to me. i just love those bits of abel's thoughts randomly shared....
